Specialty Services to Consider for Your Virtual Assistant Business

October 25, 2012 by Alicia 2 Comments

You might be trying to decide what kind of services you want to specialize in for your Virtual Assistant business. The best advice I can give you on that is to first think about the things that you really enjoy doing, the things that you’re good at and the things that you would really love to learn more about.

Combining those three factors will really help you to continue to enjoy your business and possibly prevent you from feeling bored—or even worse, burnt out. I’ve noted a couple of Virtual Assistant specialty areas and compiled some common tasks for each category.

And remember what I said about how to decide on what to offer. You really want to enjoy what you’re doing and be willing to continue your education on the subject matter because, hopefully, you’ll be very busy with tons of clients who need your help!

About Alicia

Alicia Jay began her foray into the online world when she found herself very pregnant and very laid off in a down-turned economy. She discovered Loretta Oliver and became a student of her Transcription Crash Course.

Over time, she has built up her own general transcription business while perfecting her skills and gaining the trust and respect of her clients. She now teaches others how to master transcription.

In an effort to give back, Alicia recently created newVAadvice.com, a site where she shares her journey of becoming a Virtual Assistant in the hopes of inspiring other women to follow their dreams of having a business that works around their lives—not the other way around!

This is a common mistake for those who think they can handle tasks greater by doing it independently because no one else will be able to handle it better or as good as you do. This is a common mistake done by smart people. The solution for this is to hire a virtual assistant from the best virtual assistant companies to ensure that the VA that you will hire has an ample amount of experience in the industry and has an initiative.
