You may have seen this message on Facebook already, but I wanted to post it here on the blog as well so it would reach as many people who need to hear it as possible.
I keep a list of virtual assistants in my bookmarks so that I can refer clients to others when they need a service I don’t offer. I was updating that list recently and I came across about 17 websites that no longer existed, just poof and gone into the void of internet space, and another handful with notices that they were closing or no longer offering VA services.
If you’re struggling with growth or just getting started and feeling a little discouraged, I want to say to you DON’T QUIT – don’t give up, don’t throw in the towel just yet.
If you need help, if you feel stuck, or just need a bit of encouragement, post a comment here and put it out there. Or come over and join us in the (free to join) Virtual Assistant Empowerment Group on Facebook, it’s a really supportive group and Alicia has lots of awesome resources to share there.
Post what you need help with and know that you’re not alone. We’re all in this together.

Hi Loretta,
I’m not a VA but I have been working from home since last year. This year I decided to start my blog and even though it’s very recent, I’m starting to feel a little overwhelmed. Thank you for your encouragement!
